Mission & Purpose
Mawer Music Ministry is a Christ-centered ministry serving the Afghan Church and the advance of the gospel through worship music. Our mission is to see Afghan believers lifting their voices in their own languages, hearts fully engaged with their Savior, new leaders raised up, and the name of Jesus proclaimed among the nations.
1. Worship in Every Heart Language
We create and provide high-quality worship music rooted in Scripture and sung in the mother tongues of Afghanistan—including Dari, Pashto, Hazaragi, Uzbek, Turkmen, Aimaq, and beyond.
2. Raising the Next Generation of Worship Leaders
Through training, mentoring, and discipleship, we equip Afghan believers to lead worship that is Spirit-led, biblically grounded, and culturally authentic.
3. Proclaiming the Gospel Through Song
Our worship music serves as a tool for evangelism, declaring the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ to Afghans everywhere.

Jamie Gibson
Jamie Gibson is honored to serve the Lord as a member of the Mawer Music Ministry Board of Directors. He and his family have served among Afghan communities for many years, primarily through church planting efforts, and bring deep experience in long-term gospel ministry.

Ezekiel Walker has spent over a decade serving the Lord in church planting, evangelism, and discipleship across both international and U.S. contexts. He is honored to stand alongside fellow believers to glorify Christ and advance His kingdom.
Board MemberBilquis Zhobin is an Afghan-American Christian based in Los Angeles, California. She has played a pivotal role in local and global Afghan Christian ministry, including helping establish the first Afghan Christian church in Los Angeles. Her work spans radio ministry, women’s programs, education, and resource development for Afghan believers worldwide.

Malahat Zhobin
Malahat Zhobin is an Afghan-American believer who has devoted nearly her entire life to serving Afghan Christian communities. Alongside her family, she helped establish the first Afghan Christian church in Los Angeles and remains deeply committed to strengthening the Afghan Church through faithful service.
